NCC Celebrates WHNPs and NNPs! Happy National Nurse Practitioner Week – November 9-15, 2025 October 29, 2025
NCC is proud to celebrate Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioners (WHNP) and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP). Quality care by trusted professionals is more important than ever. As information and technology expands at a rapid rate, NPs have been repeatedly shown to provide comprehensive, exceptional care to patients. Nurse practitioners are needed more than ever to increase access to care and decrease maternal and neonatal morbidity. Their commitment to a holistic approach, patient education, and continuous learning makes a difference in the lives that they touch.
Nurses have been named the most trusted profession for the last 23 consecutive years. Their ethical commitment, patient advocacy, and focus on patient well-being is a hallmark of nurses, and nurse practitioners carry these values forward into their role as advanced practice providers. The time spent with patients allows them to care for the whole person and provide expert, quality care.
NCC honors these leaders in health care. We commend the WHNPs who provide high quality, compassionate care to patients throughout adolescence, reproductive age and menopause, and the NNPs who care for the smallest and most vulnerable patients in the health care system. We are pleased to recognize all nurse practitioners who demonstrate ongoing excellence in their field.
